Walleye charter trip, Lake Of The Woods Minnesota out of Border View Lodge. Lots of walleyes were caught and even the occasional big perch. This fish was caught vertical jigging in twenty eight feet of water on a three quarter ounce jig tipped with an emerald shiner.

Clayton Freiburger and Mike Bisdorf put together two solid days weighing 18-15 to take the MWC Spring Valley trophy and a check for $16,000.00.

Will Dykstra with Tightline Outdoors guide service holds a nice walleye he caught while fishing the Chatfield Reservoir in the Denver metro area.The fish was just over 32 inches and had a 18.5 inch girth.
Will was fishing with two other Tightline Outdoors guides, Ron Lowry and Matt Endsley. The guides were trying to pattern a good bite as they wrapped up the open water walleye season. This was the biggest walleye they have ever put their hands on. The fall pattern was jigging raps on hard bottom. Will says this fish is evidence that trophy walleyes exist all across North America.

The team was fishing a combination of flies and jigs to put the winning weight in the boat. They took home a new 18' tracker ready to roll rigged with a 200 Verado, trolling motor and sonar worth over $35000 and a check for $4000.
